The leaves are changing colors, the temperature is dropping and the pumpkin spice lattes have made their debut. In an attempt to prepare you for the pumpkin-spiced war zone that awaits you we have put together a few proven tips to survive Fall.

Balance – It is easy to curl up on the couch and eat lots of junk food and watch football. Make sure you keep a balanced diet, continue your exercise routine and get plenty of sleep.

Get Outside for at least an hour every day. With the leaves changing, bugs disappearing now is a great time to explore the many trails and hills in your own backyard.

Nice Sweater – Keep the best parts of Summer alive! Just because you can’t wear a bikini to the beach, don’t let dropping temperatures slow you down, keep a nice sweater on hand for the crisp fall days.

Wear Leggings – Fall is the best time to wear your stretchy friends. And while you are at it, the cooler weather makes our joints stiff and less flexible. Remember to stretch before and after activity to keep muscles limber.

Drink Water – It is easy to forget that cool air is also dry air. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin moist and your joints happy.
